To the families and loved ones of Mr. Smith, who we know will be dearly missed. Almighty God promised at Revelation 21:4 that he will wipe away all our tears. And death, pain, and sorrow will be no more. So you can take great comfort in drawing close to God in prayer. And he will sustain and help support your families to endure. During this difficult time and in the months to follow. My deepest condolences to all of your loved ones.

My love, prayers and sympathy to each of you for your great loss. I have so many special memories of Amos and your family. Amos was a kind and gentle man who was willing to help others in any way he could. He will be greatly missed.. I especially remember the Christmas that Amos and Alice helped me complete the size 5 deputies uniform for Ronnie. I have been out of town and did not get to the visitation or service but I will see you in a few days.

always enjoying seeing Mr. Amos, when I (10-15 years old) went with my grandfather
Edmon B. Smith down to bladen county from spiveys corner area to go to the pond to go fishing and see Uncle Sanford and his wonderful family. May God give you comfort during this time.

What a man of God! Not only did he talk it, he walked it! Our loss is heaven's gain! From the first time I met Amos at Garland Baptist Church I saw a man who was after God's own heart. Every time I was around him all he wanted to talk about was Jesus and the Word of God. Bro. Amos, Alice, and I had many conversations and discussions about the Bible around their breakfast table. Those were some of the most precious memories I have of my dear brother in Christ. Now he is at perfect peace in the presence of the Lord! Not good bye, but so long for we will meet again!!
