Mrs. Annie Mae Highsmith 87 of 2634 NC Hwy. 210 East, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton, NC.
Funeral services will be held Saturday July 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Lord Jesus Christ at 718 Airport Rd. in Garland, NC.  Burial will follow in the Fennell Memorial Park.
Ms. Highsmith is survived by her seven daughters, Elaine Highsmith of Garland, Shirley Corbett of Harrells, Annie Murphy of S.C., Mary Highsmith of Fayetteville, Elois Robinson of Ivanhoe, Helen Denkins of Kelly and Doris Highsmith of Stedman. Seven sons, Lucian Highsmith of Harrells, Ernest Highsmith, Anthony Highsmith of Harrells, Vincent Highsmith of Fayetteville, Dennis Highsmith of Clarkton, Scottie Highsmith and Connie Ray Highsmith of Harrells; one sister Jerlene Murphy of Harrells.

A public viewing will be held Friday July 29, 2016 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM with family present from 4:00 P.M.-5:00PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
