Gwendolyn "Gwen" Gail Pickett

Ms. Gwendolyn “Gwen” Gail Pickett 53 of 561 Moon Johnson Rd. Delway Community, died Tuesday April 25, 2017 at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.

Ms. Pickett was born June 19, 1963 in Sampson Co., NC she was daughter of late biological mother, Juanita Pickett, She was preceded in death by her mother, Maggie P. Johnson and step father, William T. Johnson, brother Allen T. Johnson

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Hayes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, by the Reverend Alfred Holston.  Burial will follow in the Pickett-Johnson Family Cemetery 541 Moon Johnson Rd., Rose Hill, NC in Delway Community.

Ms. Pickett is survived by three sisters, Delphine Armstrong (Al) of Burgaw, Annjeanette Gills (Woody) of Rose Hill, Alveria Pierce (Pete) of Connecticut, two brothers, Swindell Pickett (Linda) of Amityville, NY, Steve Pickett of Rose Hill, NC three God sons, Daqwan Robinson, Alton Pierce, Willie Turner

The public will be received from 1:00P.M.-6:00P.M. on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
