You were there when:
Grandmother Mattie died on September 14, 1950.
June was born on March 18, 1949.
I was born on September 16, 1950.
Bill was born on March 18, 1952.
Kaye was born on April 7, 1953.
Benard was born on April 17, 1954.
Mama died in October 1975.
Daddy died in May 2001.

Your love and tears blended with mine as we transgressed the years. I am not in a hurry to meet you upstairs, but when I do, I will give your soft smooth check a big kiss.

Jennie Lee you had a sage wisdom and wit that I will miss. You had an enormous
capacity for love along with extraordinary “mom” skills. You were blessed with good teachers including Deana Lamb, Mrs. Stafford (my grandmother), my mother (Cindy), and Granny. You were so good to me; I will miss my calling you and praying together. There was a statue in Strasburg, Germany that was bombed in WW II. The area was destroyed but the statue of Jesus was not harmed except for the hands. The hands were missing -- you had the hands of Jesus. You lived your whole life having the hands of Jesus. You always gave a helping hand, a kind word, and most of all – love. I will miss you and love you.
