I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Pat. I have fond memories of the kind and gentle man he was. My mother, Patsy, was so faithful to visit her twin brother after he moved into a nursing facility. She would take him clothes and his favorite treats. I remember her saying he would request that she bring chips and salsa. She and my dad would stop and get him a Smithfield bbq sandwich on their way to see him. My mother just couldn't recover from her brain surgery two years ago, I know that was a worry for her that she could no longer visit her brother. She passed away a couple of months after her surgery. I have some pictures of them as children that I will share. I'm sorry, but my dad and I will not be able to attend the funeral. Rest In Peace, sweet Uncle Pat.
