Kathleen Christine (Fair) Cain

Mrs. Kathleen Christine Cain 95 of 120 Southwood Dr., formerly of Garland, died Friday, March 24, 2017 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton, NC.

Mrs. Cain was born October 19, 1921 in Wilson County, the daughter of the late Garfield Fair and Rena Smith Fair.  Mrs. Cain was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cain, two brothers, Roland Fair & Allen Fair, one sister Maybell Bordeaux and one daughter, Phyllis Thornton.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday March 27, 2017 at Garland Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Jeff Hayes and Rev. Dewey Ball.  Entombment will follow in the Garland Cemetery.

Mrs. Cain is five daughters, Thelma Flanagan of Whitakers, NC, Judy Norris (Leon), Cathy Horrell (Hugh), Linda Peterson (Fulton) all of Garland and Sheron Jones (Eric) of Clinton.  Three sons, Joe Cain of Clinton, Colman Cain of Harrells and Chester Cain of Garland.  One brother Tom Fair of Clinton, 26 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM unto 1:45 pm at Garland Pentecostal FWB Church in Garland and at other times at the home of Cathy Horrell 88 Triple H Lane Garland, NC.
