Mrs. Linda Carol Smith King 66 of Garland, NC died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.

Mrs. King was preceded in death by her parents, James Franklin Smith and Burdette Guy Smith, brother, James Milton Smith.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 01, 2016 at the Garland Church of God of Prophecy.  Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery.

Mrs. King is survived by her husband, Casimiro Rostro, two sons, Eddis King III wife (Jennifer) of Rose Hill, Franklin King of Unadilla, Ga., four sisters, Louise Pate of Ivanhoe, Pearl Meshaw husband (Howard) of Wilmington, Dorothy Strickland of Graham, Annie Myrle Johnson of Garland, two brothers, Glenn Smith of Wilmington, Larry Smith wife (Janice) of Garland, Sister-in-law, Doris Smith, honorary sister, Janice Register, god daughter, Maria Rostro, 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 6:00P.M.-8:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
