Master Jac’Quez Damarion Ameer Bennett 2 of 407 S. West St. passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC.

Jac’Quez was born March 3, 2014 in Cumberland County to Damion Bennett and Tamirah Pridgen. Jac’Quez Damarion Ameer Bennett also known as “Meer Meer” was a lovable son, grandson and nephew that was full of life. Loved by many and touched the lives of many. “Meer Meer” loved to go to church and praise G OD thru his favorite instrument, he loved to play the drums, he would run straight to the drums as soon as he would hit the doors of the sanctuary as well as when he would go to his uncle Tims house, he knew exactly where to go to play the drums


A Home Going Service will be held on 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 04, 2016 at Garland First Baptist Missionary Baptist Church, by Minister Donte Murphy. Burial will follow in the Fennell Memorial Park.


He leaves to cherish his memories; Mother: Tamirah Pridgen Father: Damion Bennett (Okeya Johnson), Maternal Grandparents: Tawanda & Mark Pridgen Paternal Grandparents: Robert & Lynette Bennett, Great-Grandparents: Charlie & Juanita Davis Bennett of Roseboro, N.C. Uncles: Darius Bennett and Elijah Pridgen of Roseboro, N.C. Aunt: Destiny Bennett of Roseboro, N.C. A host of great and great-great uncles and aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be held Sunday, April 03, 2016 from 1:00P.M.-6:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
