Ray Norris

Mr. Ray Norris 68 of 2010 Bull St., Garland, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at Womack Army Medical Center in  Ft. Bragg, NC.

Mr. Norris was born May 23,1948 in Bladen Co. the son of the late Sanford T. Norris and Mary Smith Norris. He was a Army veteran having served in Vietnam. 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Friendship Baptist Church 1989 Bull St.,Garland, NC by the Reverend Gary McMillian and Reverend Richard Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.

Mr. Norris is survived by one son, Stephen Norris of Garland, one daughter, Alice N. Blakenship of Clinton, 10 grandchildren and  2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 6:00P.M.-8;00P.M at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
