Robert Vernon Smith Sr.

Mr. Robert Vernon Smith Sr. 69 of 11 Jamie Junction Lot 2, White Lake, NC died May 12, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington, NC

Mr. Smith was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office where he worked as the garage superintendent.  Mr. Smith was the current Pastor of Camp Clearwater Chapel in White Lake, NC. 

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 03, 2017 at Camp Clearwater Chapel, by the Reverend Jim Woodruff and Reverend Rick McAfee.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Zilda McDaniel Smith, one son, Robert V. Smith Jr., wife Erica of Leland, NC, one daughter Tenesa Boerschlein of Raleigh, one sister Evelyn Lee of AZ., 5 grandchildren.
