Virgie Lee (Smith) Rich

Mrs. Virgie Lee Smith Rich 80 of 321 S. Bladen Ave., died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, NC.

Mrs. Rich was born June 13, 1936 in Bladen Co, the daughter of Charlie H. Smith and Cassie Smith.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Rich, and a sister Elizabeth McArthur.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 30, 2016 Garland Baptist Church, by the Reverend Ed Rouse.  Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery.

Mrs. Rich is survived by 4 sons, Clayton Rich of Garland, Derrick Rich, C.C. Rich of White Lake, John Rich of Garland, one sister Gertrude Carter( Norman) of Garland, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 6:30PM-8:30PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
