James Wyman Faircloth

Mr. James Wyman Faircloth, 68, of 4259 NC Hwy. 210 West, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Mr. Faircloth was born June 06, 1955, in Sampson Co. North Carolina, the son of the late William Faircloth and Ruth Hairr Faircloth.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Leigh Faircloth. He was a retired truck driver, having worked with Tomahawk Trucking and Mid -South for many years. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Conner officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Faircloth is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Evans Faircloth, one son, Mykal Faircloth, of Washington State, one daughter, Rebekah Dixon and husband Lance of Garland, two brothers, Keith Faircloth and wife Gailya of Salemburg, Larry Faircloth of Roseboro, 5 grandchildren, Isaac Faircloth, Johana Batten, Sophia Dixon, Skylar Dixon, and Jason Dixon.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 1:00 P.M.1:45 P.M. at Riverside Baptist Church before the service, and other times at the home of Rebekah & Lance Dixon. 2369 Susie Sand Hill Rd., Garland, NC 28441.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Carter Funeral Home, P.O. Box 07, Garland, NC 28441 to offset funeral expenses.
