Annie Kate (Norris) Peterson

Mrs. Annie Kate Norris Peterson 89 of 54 Hunters Haven Lane, Garland, NC died Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Mrs. Peterson was born April 02, 1929 in Bladen Co., the daughter of James Preston Norris & Katie Carter Norris.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Peterson, two sons, Timmy Peterson and Dan Peterson, nine brothers & sisters, Geneva Huddler, Fred H. Norris, Robert Lee Norris, Mary Gladys Weible, Mae Morgan, James Alford Norris, Billy Norris, Paul Norris, Montgomery Norris, and two great-great-grandchildren, Brandon Dabbs and Carson Avery.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Parkersburg Baptist Church, by the Reverend Stan Carter.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Peterson is survived by one sister, Betty Melvin of Garland, two brothers, Norwood Norris and David Norris both of Raleigh, 5 grandchildren, Amy Simpson, Tina Owens, Dale Peterson, Carrie Ann Peterson, Preston Peterson, 9 great-grandchildren, Katelyn Hatcher, Kristen Edwards, Emily Peterson, Dale Peterson Jr, Elijah Melvin, Danielle Tatum, Melissa Tatum, Daniel Tatum, Erwin Tatum, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 2:00P.M.-3:00P.M. before the service at the church.
