Carolyn Ann (Merritt) Lewis

Mrs. Carolyn Ann Merritt Lewis, 66, of 8887 NC Hwy. 41 East, Harrells, NC died Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.

 Mrs. Lewis was born May 24, 1953 in Bladen Co. the daughter of the late Perry Merritt Sr. and Mildred Dyson Merritt.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Merritt.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, June 28, 2019 at Colly Chapel Church, by the Reverend Jim Woodruff.  Burial will follow in church cemetery.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband, Charles L. Lewis, Sr., one son, Charles L. Lewis and wife, Crystal Lewis of White Lake, two daughters, Kim Lewis, Jeri Lewis both of Wilmington, 2 sisters, Sherry Parker and husband Milton of Clarkton, Judy Johnson and husband Coleman of Harrells, two brothers, Perry Merritt and wife Kay of Harrells, Pedro Merritt and wife Amy of Harrells, two grandchildren, Colt Lewis and Gunner Lewis of White Lake.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 6:00 P.M.-8:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Charles & Crystal Lewis, Hound Haven Lane, White Lake, NC.
