Donald Wilson Furmidge

Mr. Donald Wilson Furmidge 63 of 117 Post Ave., formerly of Sampson Co. died Tuesday, October 09, 2018 at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.

Mr. Furmidge was born on December 10, 1954 in Sampson Co. the son of the late Donald Belvin Furmidge & Reba Hall Furmidge. He was preceded in death by two brother, Bobby Furmidge & Richard Furmidge. 

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Furmidge Cemetery in Garland.

Mr. Furmidge is survived by his wife, Sandra Stancil Furmidge, two sons, Dwayne Furmidge wife Beth of Wilmington, Bryan Furmidge and wife Jesse of Fayetteville, one daughter, Donna Furmidge of Fayetteville, step-daughter, Shauna Sharpe of Torrance, CA, two sisters, Ellen Norris of Garland, Diane Prosper and husband Guy of Castle Hayne, NC, one brother, William Furmidge and wife Barbara of Clinton, 5 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 11:30A.M.-12:45 P.M. before the service at Carter Funeral Home.
