Mr. Donovan Lamar Moon 30 of 27 Center St. Garland, NC died Monday, February 11, 2019 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Garland Community Cemetery.

Mr. Moon is survived by three daughters, Maria Moon, Jalena Moon, Jada Moon, mother, Carolyn R. Melvin and husband Curtis of Garland, three brothers, Collie Ray of Dunn, Phillip Moon of Fayetteville, Emmanuel Moon of Garland, two sisters, Crystal R. Wilson and husband Colby of Virginia Beach, Va., Tiffany Moon of Garland, Step-sister, Shannon Melvin of Raleigh, NC, a host of nieces & nephews and friends.

The public will be received from 1:00P.M.-5:00P.M. Friday, February 22, 2019 at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
