Loretta (Daniels) Herring

Mrs. Loretta Daniels Herring 91 of 2920 Dr. Kerr Rd., died Sunday, December 09, 2018 at her daughters residence.

Mrs. Herring was born November 09, 1927 in Warren Co. Va., the daughter of the late Oliver Daniels & Jessie Mae White Daniels. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Herring and three sisters, Louise Baltimore, Mae Wilson, Madeline Robinson, two brothers, Delancy Daniels, Samuel Daniels.   

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Keathern Baptist Church in Harrells by the Reverend Harvey Robinson.  Burial will follow in the Robinson Cemetery, Wildcat Rd., Harrells, NC.

Mrs. Herring is survived by four daughters, Amy Morrissey (Kelvin) of St. Pauls, Frances Vann (Alonzo) of Clinton, Loretta DeVane (Russell) of Ivanhoe, Gwendolyn Spencer of Harrells, five sons Sherman Herring (Gail) of Harrells, Jerome Herring of Clinton, Delancy Herring of Ivanhoe, Terry Herring of Ivanhoe, Calvin Herring of Wilmington, 27 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.

The public will be received on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 1:00 P.M.-5:00P.M. with family present from 4:00P.M.-5:00P.M., and other times at the home of Gwendolyn Spencer, 910 Bland School Rd., Harrells, NC
