Paul G. Chatman

Mr. Paul G. Chatman 63 of 605 Volunteer Dr. Apt. H, Fayetteville, NC died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Funeral service will be held at noon, Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Carter Funeral Home, by the Reverend Willie Imes.

 Mr.Chatman was born October 3, 1954 in Columbia, South Carolina. He graduated from Irvington High School in Irvington, New Jersey. He was employed by Newport Transportation in Jersey City, New Jersey as a motor port transporter, retiring after twenty five years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. & Mrs. Chatman. One sister Antell Chatman. His mother in law Vernell Boykin, two brother in laws Jerry Boykin and Antinio Boykin.

He is survived by his wife Sarah Chatman. Four Children: Sieara H. Chatman, Sabrina Morton, Mary Morton and Rebecca Frazier. Nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. One sister Angie Chatman. His father in law J. Lewis Boykin. Brother and sister in laws Jahalia and Frankie Imes, John and Juliet Boykin, Virgil and Peggy Boykin, Vanessa Childs, Antionette Boykin and a host of nieces and nephews.

A public viewing will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2017 from 11:00 AM-11:45 AM at Carter Funeral Home before the service.
