Rebecca Ann (Stallings) Williams

Mrs. Rebecca Ann Williams 76 of 234 Lisbon Bridge Rd. Garland, NC went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 01, 2017.

She was a dear loved wife, mother, grandmother (Nana), great-grandmother (Nana Becky), sister and friend.  A caring giving person who loved her family and her neighbors.  She loved her church, Union Grove Missionary Baptist, and her church family.  She was a very active church member and took great pride in preparing the church bulletin weekly. Funeral service will at 3:30 P.M. Thursday, July 06, 2017 at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church 863 Boney Mill Rd., Clinton, NC, by the Reverend Ray Carter.  Burial will follow in the Ingold Cemetery, Johnson Rd., just off Lisbon Bridge Rd., Garland, NC.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Terry J. Williams of the home, two children, a son, Reverend Bobby Lee Spearman Jr. (Nikki) of Ingold, a daughter Kecia W. Wilson (Rodney) of the home. A sister, Marilyn Stallings Kersey (Jimmy) of Clinton, sister-in-law, Judy P. Stallings, of Garland, and Shirley W. Stallings of Fayetteville, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. Rebecca was the daughter of the late David Homer Stallings & Edna King Stallings.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Sherwood David Stallings and Bobby Gene Stallings.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 05, 2017 from 6:00P.M.-8:00PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
