Rudolph "Rudy" Murphy

Mr. Rudolph “Rudy” Murphy, 72, of 101 Dogwood Circle, formerly of Delway Community, died Thursday, November 28, 2019.

Mr. Murphy was born January 30, 1947 in Sampson Co. the son of the late John Henry Murphy and Mae Haley Murphy. He was preceded in death by one sister, Emily Dowe.  He was a retired Auto mechanic.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 01, 2019 at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church.  Burial will follow in the Murphy Cemetery in Waycross.

Mr. Murphy is survived by his twelve daughters, Tonya Dalrymple (Aubrey) of Fayetteville, Lisa Underwood (James) of Durham, Tokesia Watson of Wilmington, Dolly McNeil, Lashon Foster, Lastasia McNeil, Semeka McNeil, Joanlie McNeil, Stephanie McNeil, Crystal Murphy, all of Clinton, Kimberly McNeil of Virginia, Isaoha Darden (Montrice) of Goldsboro, two sons, Tyrone McNeil, Antonio McNeil both of Clinton, three brothers, John Wesley Murphy of Delway, John Akins (Sylvia) of Harrells, Charlie Murphy of Leland, 34 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.

The public viewing on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 1:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
