Sally (Smith) Toler

Mrs. Sally Smith Toler 79 of 120 Southwood Dr. Clinton, NC, formerly of Garland, died Wednesday, March 01, 2017 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton, NC.

Mrs. Toler was born November 09, 1937 in Sampson Co. the daughter of the late Sanford Walter Smith and Mary Bordeaux Smith. Mrs. Toler was preceded in death by two sisters, Sadie Tedder and Essie Mae Norris.   She was a retired teacher from Head Start.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 04, 2017 at the Garland Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, by the Reverend Dewey Ball and Rev Jeff Hayes.    Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery.

Mrs. Toler is survived by one son, James Michael Toler (Denise) of Garland, one daughter, Diana Moore (Frankie) of Rose Hill, three brothers, S.J. Smith, Herman Smith (Beth) both of Garland, Garry Smith (Marsha) of Hampstead, two sisters, Ellen Strickland (John), Betty Smith both of Garland, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 03, 2017 from 6:00P.M.-8:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland
