Steven "Stevie" Blackwell

Mr. Steven “Stevie” Blackwell, 63 of 3349 Lamb Rd. in Garland, N.C. died Monday, September 24, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Mr. Blackwell was born in Cumberland Co. the son of the late John V. Blackwell & Edna Johnson Blackwell. He was painter with Spell’s Painting Service in Garland.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home, by the Reverend Jack Melvin.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery on Lamb Rd., Garland, NC.

Mr. Blackwell is survived by his brother, John Blackwell (Cynthia) of Fayetteville, sister Cheryl Blackwell of Raleigh, NC.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM-11:00AM on Thursday at the funeral home before the service.
