Travis Lynn Powell

Mr. Travis Lynn Powell 51 of 85 Birdy Lane, Garland, NC died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC.

Mr. Powell was born November 21, 1966 in Sampson Co.  He was preceded in death by his father, William Earl “Willie” Powell, a brother, William “Birdy” Powell.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home, by the Reverend Gene Smith.  Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery.

Mr. Powell is survived by one daughter, Amber Daves of Burlington, NC, mother, Willarise Powell of the home, one sister, Melindy Hunter and husband Hugh Mac of Chinquapin, two brothers, Ricky Powell and wife Lisa of Garland, William Shane Powell of Garland, special friend, Patty Smith of Reidsville, NC, 1 grandchild, Elainea Daves Burlington, NC.

The family will receive friends from 1:30P.M.-2:45P.M. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the funeral home before the service.
