Utis "Son" Mainor Obituary

Mr. Utis “Son” Mainor 69 of 2954 Buckhorn Rd. Harrells, NC died Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Mr. Mainor was born Florence, South Carolina, the son of the late Utis Mainor and Idella Gibbs Mainor. He was preceded in death by brother, Clyde Mainor, four sisters, Louise Vann, Elois Fennell, Eula Mae Merritt, and Mary Jacobs.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Wards Chapel Baptist Church, by Rev. James L. McKinnon. Burial will follow in the Mainor Family Cemetery.

Mr. Mainor is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Tatum Overby of Rose Hill, Elouise Middleton (James) of Brooklyn NY., one brother, James Allen Mainor (Alice) of North Salt Lake, Utah, several nieces & nephews.

The public will be received from 1:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. with family present from 5:00P.M.-6:00P.M. Monday, April 22, 2019 at Carter Funeral Home, Garland, NC
