Anellio Machelle Faison, affectionately known as "Neil," was born on September 4, 1968, in Sampson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on April 4, 2025, at NHRMC in Wilmington, North Carolina, leaving behind a legacy of love and craftsmanship.
Neil dedicated his life to his work as a self-employed carpenter in the construction industry, where his skill and dedication shone through every project he undertook. His meticulous attention to detail and his ability to transform raw materials into beautiful creations earned him the respect and admiration of clients and colleagues alike.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Christina "Peaches" Faison, who shared her life with him in their home. Neil was also a devoted father to his two sons, Kwame Murphy of Harrells, NC, and Ronnie Faison of Harrells, NC. He held a special place in his heart for his mother, Jean T. Faison of Clinton, NC, and was a loving companion to his fur baby, Chops. Additionally, he cherished his role as a godfather, providing guidance and support to his three godchildren: Arion "Ja" Murphy, Arabia Moore, and Eryn Chestnutt.
Neil was preceded in death by his father, Willie J. Faison, whose memory will forever hold a place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A viewing will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with the family present from 5:00-6:00 PM, at Carter Funeral Home located at 111 North Ingold Avenue, Garland, NC. The funeral service will take place the following day, Saturday, April 12, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, located at 9364 Wildcat Road, Harrells, NC. Interment following the service at Newkirk Family Cemetery.
Anellio Machelle Faison's memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will undoubtedly continue to inspire those around him as they carry forward his lessons of hard work, love, and dedication.
