Arnold Ray Strickland

Mr. Arnold Ray Strickland, 75, of 132 General Lee Lane, Clinton, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at his residence.

Ray was born September 29, 1948, in Baltimore Maryland, to the late, Joseph L. Strickland and his wife, Hazel Boney Strickland. In addition to his parents, Ray is preceded in death by his sister: Jean Strickland. Ray enjoyed a long career as a Truck Driver, working for himself.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Ray leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife: Sonya Cruz Strickland of the home, five children: Angel Cruz (Stephanie) of St. Cloud, FL, Lucas Cruz (Zuane) of Alameda, CA, Carlos Cruz (Maria) of Clinton, NC, Benton Strickland (Michelle) of Hagerstown, MD, Timothy Strickland (Tiffany) of Southport, NC, one brother: Terry “Shag” Strickland of Clinton, NC, 15 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
