Born on May 28, 1948, in Sampson County, North Carolina, Bobby's life was marked by a steadfast dedication to his family and career.

A proud graduate of Garland High School, Bobby launched into his professional journey with determination and integrity. He devoted his working years to a local glass plant, where he rose to the position of Maintenance Supervisor, a role he fulfilled with unwavering responsibility until his retirement. His expertise and leadership in maintaining the plant's operations earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and community alike.

Bobby’s legacy is deeply cherished by his loving family members who survive him. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Alice Norris, with whom he shared many years of companionship and love at their home. His daughter, Carrie Norris Spell, of Newton Grove, NC, holds his memory close, as does his granddaughter, Brittney Spell, who continues to be a bright source of pride and joy in the family. Bobby is also survived by his brother, Glenn Norris of Garland, NC, who shared a lifelong bond with him.

His departure leaves a profound void, especially as he was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Fletcher Keith Norris and Delcy Gallagher Norris, whose memories remain a treasured part of the family’s history. Bobby also mourns the loss of one brother, whose absence is felt deeply by those who knew him.
