Debora "Debbie" McCall Thomas

Debora (Debbie) McCall Thomas, age 64, of 206 Byrd Lane, Elizabethtown, NC passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, NC.

Debbie was born on July 19, 1961, to Merrold and Joyce McCall. She spent her entire life in her hometown of Elizabethtown, where she was a beloved member of the community and cherished by her family and friends.

Throughout her life, Debbie was known for her kind heart and generous spirit. She had a special way of making everyone around her feel cared for and loved, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Debbie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Timothy (Tim) Thomas; her father, Merrold McCall; and her brother, Michael McCall.

Debbie leaves behind her loving mother, Joyce McCall of Elizabethtown; her son, Jason (JT) Thomas and wife, Jessi, of White Lake, NC; her granddaughter, Rylee Usher; her sister, Marcia McCall Bustos and husband, Rick, of Hope Mills, NC; two nephews, Brandon Merritt and wife, Brie, and Evan Bustos.

Debbie’s loving nature and warmth will be deeply missed by her entire family.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 4th at 2:00 pm at the Thomas Family Cemetery, located at 8152 NC Highway 41E, Elizabethtown, NC. Reverend Neill Smith will officiate the service.
