Mr. Dewey Allen Carter 70 of 10235 Old Mintz Hwy. Garland, NC, died Wednesday, March 02, 2016 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 05, 2016 at Garland Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, by the Reverend Marty Tew and Reverend Dewey Ball. Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Carter is survived by his wife, Ada Carter, two daughters, Sharon Harper, Jennifer Hazelwood, one sister, Stella Hairr of Wilmington, one brother Buck Carter of Garland, 4 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 04, 2016 from 6:00P.M.-8:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
