Elliott Naylor, Jr.

Elliott Naylor, Jr. passed away on January 7, 2026, in his beloved hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina. Born on November 14, 1962, Elliott graced the world with his vibrant spirit and infectious warmth. He made it a point never to meet a stranger, embracing everyone he encountered with open arms and a smile that could brighten even the gloomiest of days.

Elliott’s love for family was paramount. He leaves behind his cherished sisters: Mary Jane Wallace of Southport, NC; Janet Smith and her husband Eddie of Garland, NC; Sarah Benton of Wilmington, NC; and Jo Ann Singleton from Burgaw, NC. He also held a special place in his heart for his closest friend, Sherrie Causey, and a multitude of nieces and nephews, including one exceptional nephew, Lonnie Britt of Leland, NC.

Elliott was preceded in death by his parents, Elliott Naylor, Sr. and Elizabeth Powell Naylor, who surely welcomed him with open arms. His legacy is etched in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Elliott's journey through life was marked by his unwavering commitment to family and friends, a testament to his character and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by everyone who had the privilege to share in his life.

The family wishes to thank the many friends and medical doctors who assisted with Elliott's medical care. 

A Memorial Service honoring him will be announced at a later date.
