Obituary

Ms. Emily Maready Andrews, 65, of 450 Wells Chapel Church Rd., Harrells, NC, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026, at her residence.

Emily married Aaron Andrews on December 10, 1978. They were married for 47 years.

In her younger years, Emily and Aaron enjoyed going dancing. They also loved the beach and went whenever they could.

Emily loved to go shopping with the girls—whether it was to JCPenney or to a yard sale, it didn’t matter; she enjoyed it just the same. She loved her little dogs and took care of them like they were babies. She enjoyed playing games on her phone with friends and family, as well as watching her reality, singing, and dancing TV shows. She also loved her soap operas and rarely missed an episode.

Emily worked for many years at BDC in Wallace before declining health took her out of work. Her health also kept her from being able to attend many family functions and gatherings, but whenever family came to visit, she glowed with happiness. Emily loved many people and things, but her family was always at the top of her list.

A Graveside Service will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Harrells Cemetery, on Hwy 421 in Harrells, NC.
