Franklin Albert Carroll, born to James and Eula Mae Carroll on January 24, 1943, bid farewell to this world on May 27, 2023. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Franklin married Sharon Kaye Freel on July 25, 1962, and their union was blessed with two children, Franklin Allen Carroll (Linda Carroll) and Deanna Kaye Anders (Keith Anders), one brother, Elworth Carroll (Elaine Carroll), Great Aunt Patsy Mathews. Throughout his life, Franklin's devotion to his family was unwavering, and he found great joy in spending time with his loved ones.
Franklin served his country with honor and distinction, dedicating 20 years of his life to the United States Air Force. His commitment to service was a testament to his strong sense of duty and patriotism. He contributed significantly to the defense of his nation.
The family was the cornerstone of Franklin's life and he cherished his role as a father and grandfather. He leaves behind three grandchildren, Hailey (Caleb Johnson), Alena (Dan Chabot), and Kaleb, who brought him immeasurable pride and happiness. Franklin was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Colt and Henry, whose smiles brightened his days.
Franklin Albert Carroll will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love, kindness, and selflessness will forever be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends. As they mourn his loss, they find solace in the knowledge that his spirit lives on through the memories and the love he shared.
A Graveside service to celebrate Franklin's life will be held on Tuesday, May 30th at 11:00 A.M. at the Garland Cemetery, by the Reverend Dewey Ball, Officiating. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and honoring this remarkable man.
