Harry "Bud" Lee Mainor Ii

Mr. Harry “Bud” Lee Mainor II, 73, of 23050 US Hwy 421, Willard, passed away on Sunday, May 07, 2023, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

Bud was born January 08, 1950, in Sampson County to the late Harry Lee Mainor Sr. and his wife Juanitia Herring Mainor. In addition to his parents, Bud is preceded in death by, one daughter, Melissa Morrisey and one sister: Rose Lee Manuel.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 12, 2023, at Roseville Missionary Baptist Church, 2870 Wilmington Hwy, Willard. Interment to follow the service at Keathern Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Harrells.

Bud leaves to cherish his memory two sons: Harry L. Mainor III (Pamela) of Leland; Elbert L. Fryar (Jennifer) of Whiteville, two daughters: Tewanda Mainor of Leland; and Shavonia West of Garland, five sisters: Ella Mainor of Harrells; Mary Mainor of Harrells; Myrtle Mainor of New Haven, MI; Fontanie Mainor of Harrells; and Renee Mainor of Bolivia, and one brother: James D. Mainor of Harrells, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 1:00-6:00 PM, with the family present from 5:00-6:00 PM, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland. The family will receive friends at other times, at the home of Mary Mainor, 139 Quincy Reese Lane, Harrells.
