James "Joe" Ronnie Price

James Ronnie Price, 75, affectionately known as Joe, from Elizabethtown, NC, passed away on October 23, 2026, at CFVMC in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He was born on September 19, 1951, in Union County, South Carolina.

Mr. Price built a career as a chemical engineer in the clothing industry, a profession he continued in until his retirement. He will be remembered not only for his years of dedicated work, but also for the enjoyment he found in the things he loved most. He loved golfing, cheering for the Clemson Tigers, and following the Carolina Panthers, interests that brought him much happiness and were surely familiar to all who knew him well.

Above all, Joe will be remembered by the family and friends who shared in his life. He is survived by his wife, Connie Price; his son, Jonathan Grissop and Samantha; his daughters, Jeannie Brewington and Michael, Jessica Thomas and JT, and Jenessa Price and Russ; his brother, Craig Price and Gwen; and his sister, Linda Bates. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Blake Brewington, Rylee Usher, Daisey Grissop, and Parker McLemore, whose place in his family brought special joy to his life. He is also survived by his faithful fur buddy, Mollie.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Virgil Price and Jeannette Haney Price; his brother, Danny Price; and his sister, Elaine Price.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Joe’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and in the many moments of family, friendship, and shared interests that will continue to bring him to mind with affection.
