James Thomas Smith
July 17, 1937 — November 18, 2019
James T. Smith AKA “J.T.” departed this world on November 18, 2019. He is preceded in death by his father James Smith, mother Mable Smith and his daughter Emma Smith Vassell. He leaves behind two daughters Wanda Melvin of Roseboro, Nartasa Holmes of Teachey, one son Darius T. Weeks, seven grandchildren Don Smith, Jamie Smith, Sharon Howard, Dynasti Wooten, Daliaha Wooten, Jada Wooten, Jaylen Wooten, eighteen great grandchildren and a host of great great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
