Larry Albert Long

Larry Albert Long, 67, of 633 Mote Rd. Harrells, NC, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at his residence.

Larry was born on May 28, 1958, in Pender Co. to the late John Albert Long and Arlene Squries Long. He was preceded in death by his wife, Matilda Long, a step-son Mitchell Barnes, and a brother Johnny Ray Long.  He was a retired logger.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. at Holmes Hill Cemetery in Kelly, NC.

Mr. Long is survived by his daughter, Lisa Long and husband Elroy Long of Garland, two step-sons, Charles Barnes, and Ray Barnes, both of Garland, one brother, Elroy Long and wife Lisa Long of Garland. three sisters, Vanessa Rich and Joyce Smith both of Garland, and Marlene Long of Rocky Point.
