Larry Mack Merritt

Mr. Larry Merritt, 70, of 9855 Old Fayetteville Rd, Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Larry was born January 26, 1952, in Robeson County to the late Charlie Merritt and wife Mary Hodge Merritt. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by two brothers: Charlie Junior Merritt; Bobby Wayne Merritt, and sister-in-law: Barbara Merritt.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 29, 2022, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland. Burial will follow in the Briar Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Elizabethtown.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory one brother: Danny Merritt; eight sisters: Mary Frances Strickland of Ammon; Donnie Pendergraft of Elizabethtown; Dorothy and Bennette Tatum of Ammon; Alice Hammonds of Ammon; Barbara and Neil Robinson of Ammon; Sue and Ray Hudson of White Lake; Shelia Dowless of Dublin; Debbie Williams of Ammon, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 12:30-1:50 PM, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
