Lisa Jernigan

Ms. Lisa Ann Shaw Jernigan, 60, of 4536 Hwy 211 W., Bladenboro, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Lisa was born on September 05, 1964, in Trenton, NJ, to Charles Shaw and his wife, Dorothy Bendy Shaw. Lisa is preceded in death by her son: Jeffrey Jernigan, her father: Charles Shaw, and one brother: Bobby Shaw. Lisa enjoyed a long career as a CNA in the Health Care Industry.  

A Viewing and a time of remembrance, will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Carter Funeral Home, 111 N. Ingold Ave., Garland, between the hours of 6:00-8:00 PM.  

Lisa leaves to cherish her memory, one son: Jordan Jernigan of Harrells, her mother: Dorothy Shaw of Bladenboro, two sisters: Kim Pineda (Oscar) of Whiteville; Tammy Inman (Tim) of Elizabethtown, two brothers: David Shaw of Bladenboro; Thomas Shaw of Bladenboro, 3 grandchildren: Jeffrey “JJ” Jernigan of Elizabethtown, Alexis Brooke Jernigan of Elizabethtown, Blaire Rae Talton of Chadbourn, special great nephew: Jagger Gardner of Pembroke, nieces, and nephews: Savannah Shaw; Coreanne Shaw; Ashley Shaw; Zachary Shaw; Blake Gardner; Alyssa Gardner; Aaron Inman; Tina Horton; Bella Inman, and many friends in the community.
