Master Legend Peterson

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our precious baby boy, Legend Amir Peterson, who departed this life on March 29, 2026, at just five months old. Legend was born on October 10, 2025, and in his short time here, he brought immeasurable love, joy, and light to his family.

 His gentle presence, beautiful spirit, and the happiness he gave to those around him will forever be cherished and remembered. He is deeply loved and will be forever missed by his devoted mother, Tiffany Tatum, and father, Carlton Peterson; his loving sisters, Chanelle Peterson, Heaven'ly Scott; his brothers, Charles Peterson, Karter Scott; his grandmother, Janet Jones; and his aunts, Brittnay Jones, Maisha Elkins, Brenna Hopkins, Nastasha Hayes along with many other family members who held him close to their hearts. Though Legend's time with us was brief, the love he gave and the memories he created will last a lifetime. He will always remain a cherished part of his family's story. 

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Legend's life will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m at the Pickett Family Cemetery, 357 Moon Johnson Rd., Rose Hill, NC. "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me." - Psalm 23:4 Though we cannot hold him in our arms, we will hold him in our hearts forever.
