Mrs. Senia Williams Malone 89 of 1045 Anderson Ave. Apt.3D-, Bronx, NY, formerly of Harrells, Community died Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, NY.
Mrs. Senia Malone was born in East Arcada, North Carolina on December 15, 1924. She attended North Carolina Public Schools in East Arcada, and moved to the Bronx, New York at a young age.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland with the Rev. Travis Sampson officiating. Burial will follow in the Tomahawk First Baptist Church Cemetery in Harrells.
She enjoyed cooking so much that she opened her own Restaurant in the Bronx. She enjoyed sewing and her favorite television shows was soap operas, church services and good old gospel singing.
Senia is survived by: her son, Leroy Williams, of Wilmington, NC; granddaughter, Josslyn Brooks; great-granddaughter, Brianna Brooks and a great great granddaughter, London Brooks, all of Kent, Washington; a host of other family members and a friend who was like a daughter to her, Ann Allen.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
