Quessie Mae Spearman

Quessie Mae Spearman, born Quessie Mae Herring, passed away on October 10, 2026, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, North Carolina. She was born on July 25, 1941, in Sampson County, North Carolina, and lived a life marked by family ties and enduring love.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry James Spearman Sr.; her two daughters, Maurice Herring Rogers; Pamela Herring; her stepdaughter, Beatty Maggett and stepson, JB Spearman; and her parents, Ashley and Ella Herring.

Quessie leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Angela Spearman and Ashley Spearman. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Luerain Pratt, stepsons, Henry Spearman Jr., Jimmie Spearman, and Billy Ray Spearman. Her memory will also be treasured by her grandchildren, Alexandria Rogers, Thomas Walters Jr., and Antonio Spearman, whose lives stand as part of her lasting legacy. She is further survived by her special brothers, Jimmy Carroll Spearman and Rev. Willie C. Alford, along with other relatives and loved ones who will continue to hold her close in heart and memory.
