Raymond Jeffrey Smith

Raymond Jeffrey Smith, 67, of the Cypress Creek community of Bladen County, passed away at his home on July 9, 2026.

Jeffrey enjoyed NASCAR, golfing, fishing at the Outer Banks, and following the UNC Tar Heels and the St. Louis Cardinals.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willis Raymond Smith; his mother, Lucille Lewis Smith; and his brother, Jerry Michael Smith. Jeffrey is survived by his best friend and companion; Clara Johnson; his daughter; Andrea Fisher (Mike) of Elizabethtown; his brother; Charles Wade Smith of Garland, his granddaughter; Alexis Fisher, nieces; Brooke Suggs (Cody), and Charlotte Robinson (Grant); five great nieces and beloved dog Nellie.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cypress Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 1289 Old Fayetteville Road, Garland, NC.
