Rev. Annie Julia (Robinson) Wright

Reverend  Wright, 88, of 311 N. Ingold Ave, Garland, NC, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, in Fayetteville, NC.

Reverend Wright was born June 25, 1935, in Sampson County, NC, to Liza Robinson and Luke Murphy. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband: Leroy Wright, son: Larry Donnell Robinson, 3 sisters: Izzie Jane West; Liz Walker, and Brenda Robinson, brother: Kenny Robinson, and her great-grandchild: Tatiana Morgan.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Carter Funeral Home, 111 N. Ingold Ave., Garland, NC. Interment to follow at the Smith Chapel Church Cemetery, 7485 Old Mintz Hwy., Garland, NC.

Reverend Wright leaves to cherish her memory, two beloved granddaughters: Melissa Morgan of Roseboro, NC, and Tamara Morgan of Brooklyn, NY, her adopted sister: Sylvia B. Carter of Garland, 2 Godsons: Danny Moore, and Douglas Junior Walker, special niece: Ethelene Stewart, her special friends Claudia Mathis, and Linda Grey, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Viewing will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 1:00-6:00 PM, with the family present from 5:00-6:00 PM, at Carter Funeral Home, 111 N. Ingold Ave., Garland, NC.
