On April 4, 1936, Robert Albert Crumpler, was born to the late John Wade Rich and Elsie Lee Crumpler in Tomahawk, North Carolina. 

The Heavenly Father sent his angels to bring Robert home on March 30, 2026, after an illness. 

Robert was educated at the Garland Colored High School, in Garland, North Carolina, and graduated on May 23, 1952. After graduating he enlisted in the United States Army for 3 years and continued serving the country by enlisting in the Air Force for 4 years. 

After receiving an honorable discharge from both branches of service he settled in the Los Angeles, California. 

He completed his studies at Southwest College in Los Angeles, and transfer to Loyola Marymount University with one semester left in completing a degree in law.

His hobbies included traveling across the country, taking pictures of family, friends, and nature.

Robert was preceded in death by two brothers: Thomas and James Crumpler.

Robert leaves to mourn his memory: his wife Merriel of 44 years, his loving children, Turonda, Mark, Michael, Latisha, and Rofreca, along with my grandchildren, extended family, and a host of dear friends.
