Sharon Kaye Carroll

Sharon Kaye (Freel) Carroll, 83, of Garland, NC, passed away on October 02, 2025, at The Gardens of Roseboro.

Sharon was born June 24, 1942, in Sioux City, Iowa. She is the daughter of the late Dallas and Reva Freel. She married Franklin Carroll on July 25, 1962, and their union was blessed with two children, Franklin Allen Carroll (Linda Carroll), and Deanna Kaye Anders (Keith Anders). Sharon was a member of Garland PFWB Church.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Carroll, and her brother Kenneth Edward Freel. Survivors include her children, Franklin Allen Carroll (Linda Carroll), and Deanna Anders (Keith Anders), and grandchildren Hailey Johnson (Caleb Johnson), Alena Chabot (Dan Chabot), and Kaleb Anders, and great-grandchildren, Colt and Henry Johnson.

A Graveside Service will be held at 5:00 PM, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at The Garland Cemetery, 1030 Harrells Hwy, Garland, NC. Reverend Jeff Testerman and Reverend Dewey Ball will be officiating the service.
