Sherry Ann Johnson Carey

Ms. Sherry Ann Johnson Carey, 57 of 668 Cain Rd. Garland, NC, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Ms. Carey was born on December 02, 1967, the daughter of the late William Sherman Johnson and Annie Smith Johnson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carey Jr.

A Memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Ms. Carey is survived by one son, Robert “DJ” Carey of Fredericksburg, Virginia, two daughters, Emily Gamez and husband Victor of Clinton, NC, Taylor Carey of Garland, mother, Annie S. Johnson of Garland, 6 grandchildren, Dekota Carey, Skyler Cruz, Paisley Cruz, Martina Cruz, Wyatt Gamez, and Evelyn Gamez.
