Mr. William Earl Bennett Sr. 76 of 20 Harry McGee Lane, died Friday, July 22, 2011 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton, NC by the Reverend William Earl Bennett Jr.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Bennett, five daughters, Mary Alice Williams of Newburgh, NY, Sheryl Melvin, Patricia Sutton, Ida Bennett, all of Clinton, Robin Bennett of Baltimore, Md., 3 sons, William E. Bennett Jr. Eric Bennett, James Bennett all of Clinton, 3 step-sons, Hubert Jeffers, of Fairbanks, AK, Jerry Jeffers, Gino Jeffers, both of Clinton, one sister, Gloria Bennett of Goldsboro, eight brothers, Mitchell Bennett of Newburgh, NY, Clyde Bennett of New Haven, CN, Kenneth Bennett of Marlin, TX, George Bennett of Charlotte, Emerly Bennett of Clinton, Willie Bennett of Salemburg, Henry Bennett of Goldsboro, Robert Bennett of Garland, NC, 49 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 29, 2011 from 1:00P.M.-8:00P.M., with family present from 6:00P.M.-8:00P.M.
