William Michale Gurganious, fondly known to many as "Pak Rat," passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 48 in White Lake, North Carolina. Born on August , 1977, in Carteret County, NC, he made a lasting impact on everyone who crossed his path, earning a reputation as a man who never met a stranger. His engaging personality and his love for conversation made him a cherished friend and confidant.
William's service to his country as an Army Veteran exemplified his commitment to helping others, a trait that extended far beyond his military career. Throughout his life, William was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, embodying the spirit of kindness and generosity.
His passions included hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to embrace the beauty of nature and share meaningful moments with friends and family. Additionally, he had a particular fondness for riding his motorcycle, which brought him much joy and adventure as he explored the open roads.
William is survived by his beloved wife, Ayme Gurganious, and his cherished dogs. He will also be remembered by the many friends whose lives he touched through his warmth, humor, and unwavering support.
He joins his predeceased parents, William and Sarah Gurganious, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became. The legacy of kindness and camaraderie that William leaves behind will resonate deeply in the hearts of those who knew him.
A visitation will be held in his honor on December 6, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service that will take place from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Friendship Baptist Church, located at 1989 Bull Street, Garland, NC, 28441.
