William "WC" Charles Sutton

Mr. William “WC” Charles Sutton, 95, of 5030 NC Hwy. 210 East, Harrells, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at his residence.

Mr. Sutton was born March 03, 1930 in Bladen Co. North Carolina, the son of the late Herbert Sutton and Mattie Lee Sutton. Mr. Sutton is preceded in death by a sister, Helen Sutton Mitchell, and a grandson, Timothy Bartlett. He retired from North Carolina DOT, and was a farmer for many years. A member of Riverside Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday October 20, 2025, at Riverside Baptist Church, by the Reverend Scott Conner, and Reverend Richard Wade.

Mr. Sutton is survived by his wife of 72 years, Grace Boney Sutton, one daughter, Melva Bartlett and husband Randy of Garland, one son Charles Sutton and wife Amanda of Elizabethtown, two grandchildren, Josh Bartlett and wife Nicole, Amanda Parker and husband Matt, 8 great-grandchildren, Madison Hall, Charity Bartlett, Emmett Bartlett, Bethany Bartlett, Harleigh Bartlett, Noah Parker, Jonah Parker, Haisley Bartlett.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 2:00 P.M.-2:45 P.M. at the church fellowship center before the service.
