William "Billy" Hilton Evans

Mr. William “Billy” Hilton Evans, 62, of 1107 Carthage St., Sanford, formerly of Harrells, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Sanford Senior Living in Sanford.

Billy was born July 20, 1961, in Sampson County, to the late Claud Dewey Evans and his wife Sarah Hilton Evans. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brother-in-law: Steve Kotoris, and sister-in-law: Elise Evans. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Staley, NC.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Cypress Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Garland. Pastor Alan Albright will be officiating the service.

Billy leaves to cherish his memory, three brothers: Wayne Evans of Ash, Harold and Connie Evans of Troy, Randy and Rhonda Evans of Staley, one sister: Debbie Kotoris of Siler City, and several nieces and nephews.
